1 - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
VATSIM Europe currently hosts Jim Bartosh's work as a tribute for his
service to the members.

These are most commonly asked questions like S-11 for example about wrong
position of aicraft on network.
 
2 - EUROBOOK, your ATC preview tool
VATSIM Europe has developed this tool for a) controllers to indicate planned
presence and b) pilots to check on it and know when and where to plan their
flights. We urge both groups to use it extensivelly since this is the only
way it will fully exploit its potential. Read all about it on VATEUR

3- New Division Directors
VATSIM Europe Region would like to thank Ruslan Forostyak and Chris Barham
for leading RUS and UK Divisions respectivelly during the past year. We
welcome Yuri Trunov (VATRUS1) and Lee Redmayne (VATUK1) at their new posts
and wish them all the best.
 
4 - New Software
Well, Richard Critz told you all about them on November 22nd NOTAM !
http://vatsim.net/voice/avc and http://asrc.info are the places to visit.
The sooner we *ALL* switch to AVC the sooner the problems will go away.
Also don't forget that http://www.squawkbox.ca/ is getting closer and closer
at a steady pace. AVC comes with a complete manual, please read it. ASRC 1.1
includes a "Quick Guide" for 1.0 users. At the bottom of the quick guide you
will find some very usefull links. Please use them; this is where you will
find the new complete user manual that is coming out soon from a dedicated
team in VATSIM.
 
5 - UK Airway name changes
With effect from November 27th 2003 Vatsim-UK has implemented the real world
airway name changes for the UK as part of European Airspace Harmonisation.

6 - AIRAC NAVData Updates
Our friend Richard Stefan at NAVData has some bad news for us. We all
support him and hope for the best in the future. We sincerelly hope that he
