About 16 Members of VATSIM will meet there to show the simmers and the press LIVE the fascination of online flying and controlling. ATC stations will be next to each other at the gallery of the famous "Flugwerft Oberschleissheim" in which still today old aircraft are reconstructed like currently a Heikel He-111. What can you expect? - Full 8 hours on both days - EDMM-ATC-Service LIVE from the aircraft hangar - A fully staffed Munich FIR with its main airport EDDM - Munich Franz Joseph Strauss Routes: http://fpc.vacc-sag.org Charts: http://www.vacc-sag.net (Main-Menu Charts) So come on over and visit Munich FIR during these two days to show what this hobby is all about. 2 - Malta vACC now official As of October 6th, VATSIM Europe Division (VATEUD) has a new Official vACC that was under development the previous months. The Maltese staff met all VATEUD requirements to earn it and its well deserved. They are very active, and also won VATSIM's "Iron Mic Award" for their on line presence during the third week of August 2004. For more information visit their website at http://www.ml-vacc.org/ 3 - Serbia & Montenegro vACC now official As of September 24th, VATEUD has declared SCGvACC as one more of its official vACCs. After months of hard work its staff members met all the requirements of VATEUD. Make sure you pay a visit to their website http://www.scgvacc.net/ and plan your next flights to/from their airspace as well which is now reguralrly manned. 4 - EPWW Warsawa FIR changes The Polish vACC informed us of some recent changes in their airspace. As of 09 Oct. 2004 the old VOR/DME "OKE" is withdrawn and a new DVOR/DME "OKE" is introduced. This new DVOR is tha main navaid for WARSZAWA (EPWA) aerodrome and TMA. The most important thing is that the new DVOR has different coordinates, so for proper approach procedures pilots must have the scenery update (three new bgl files). They aim towards giving an even better service to pilots flying in Iceland's airspace. They also informed us that they will arrange an "Arctic Adventure" to welcome Iceland on Sunday 17th of October.
