Reduced Vertical Separation Minimums (RVSM) ----------------------------------------------------- On January 24th, 2002 the VATSIM Europe Region will, like the greater part of Europe in the real world, introduce RVSM for flight levels above FL 290. For more information on real RVSM check http://www.eur- rvsm.com This means that the Eastbound-ODD and the Wesbound-EVEN rule, until now valid up to FL 290, will be extended to higher flight levels as well, allowing for 1000 ft vertical separation for all flight levels. Please check your Division website for further local information on RVSM.
